At $108 a night, I’ve stayed in much better hotels. This place needs work throughout, from the property to the hotel and rooms. I’d rate it around 2 out of 10. Thank goodness I’m a Scentsy consultant and had room spray to make things a little more pleasant, though it didn’t change how dirty the place made me feel. We didn’t trust the breakfast enough to eat it.

The bedroom was decent, with a clean, comfortable bed, a nice chair, and a view of the pond. The bathroom was clean, the shower was great after a day of travel, and breakfast was okay. People were nice too. But there were beer bottle caps under the TV stand that weren’t ours, the fridge was cool but not cold enough for meat and food, and the microwave smelled like something had burned and needed cleaning. The worst part was the musty, damp smell coming from the back hallway swimming area. It spread through the elevator upstairs. We were on the third floor, where it wasn’t as bad, but I woke up with swollen glands and a breakout on my face from the air and smells. Someone needs to deal with it. I’m not the only guest who’s mentioned the odor. We’d already made a nonrefundable mobile reservation while traveling, so we stopped for the night.

The truck driver’s breakfast was amazing, and the people were awesome. Everyone was kind to me as a truck driver and very accommodating. They had a spot with some grass where I could park, and even helped me with some wood when I needed to detach my trailer so I could go eat and shop. I’d highly recommend them.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and it took forever for the water to get hot. The hotel felt damp and smelled musty. The hallway carpets are old and stained, and the rooms could use new paint and better bed coverings.
