Dean and, I assume, his wife were incredibly accommodating. Near the end of breakfast, with less than five minutes left, she even got the staff to offer a turkey option. Dean also told me about the rental vehicle program. The hotel was great, and across my four days I had several positive experiences and no complaints. Thanks to them and the very customer focused staff.

The cleaning was the highlight. My room was made up without me having to ask, and the owner, N., seemed like a nice guy. I hope they take some of this feedback on board. The location is excellent, but the rooms and service need work. My key card stopped working twice a day even though I kept it away from my phone and wallet, and the receptionist couldn't explain why. There was no welcome for IHG members, and I was asked to pay $2 for a bottle of water at night. The bathroom sink was clogged, the room was extremely dark, and the floor shook. The furniture also seemed about 30 years old. The room interiors really need an upgrade.

Breakfast was tasty and convenient, and the location worked well, close to restaurants. Check-in was warm and easy thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. My room was clean, comfortable, and in good shape, with the amenities I needed to unwind. A peaceful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Pearland. I'd stay again.

The housekeeping team was consistently excellent, keeping things clean and the linens fresh. The hotel itself is well cared for, with attractive furniture and lovely artwork. I also liked the idea of booking a Tesla test drive through a QR code, though the available times in the app were very limited and all fell during my work hours. Staff had told me I could do it any time, so I was disappointed not to find a time that worked. Breakfast was the main letdown, especially compared with other IHG and Holiday Inn locations. The area was often dirty during my first few days, and supplies kept running out. I heard several guests complain, including one morning when a guest who said she worked for Holiday Inn called the service unacceptable. She seemed to know what a properly run breakfast service should look like. Coffee and towels were often missing despite there being several coffee stations. Oatmeal usually had no sign, eggs were scarce or gone quickly, and I often had to ask for basic utensils like forks. The breakfast staff also seemed to be away from the area a lot. Unlike at other Holiday Inns, this breakfast area wasn't reliably stocked through closing. It needs prompt improvement.
