Cannon Beach Hotel Collection

The front desk woman was super friendly when we walked in at the last minute to ask about a room. We had a great conversation while I was deciding whether to stay in town. I think her name was Malia, sorry if I've got that wrong, but she deserves a raise. She made sure we had everything, including a bottle of wine, offered to have someone pull out the hide-a-bed for our kids, and gave us great recommendations. She was there for checkout the next day too, just as friendly. The rooms were really clean and nice, and the beach entrance beside the property was cool, like walking through a tree tunnel. It was less than a block to the beach. They welcome pets and even gave us a pet basket. Highly, highly recommend, and can't wait to come back.

The location at McBee Cottages in Cannon Beach was perfect, just a few steps from the beach and an easy walk to the town's shops and restaurants. I felt relaxed there with my dog, which can be stressful while traveling. For my birthday, I booked last minute with my service dog and wasn't expecting much, but the welcome felt personal from the start. They gave me a complimentary room upgrade, and there was a chilled bottle of rosé and an adorable doggie welcome basket waiting inside. The cottage was cozy, clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. It made a simple birthday trip memorable. I'll absolutely return and tell everyone I know to come too. Highly recommend for a calm, pet-friendly stay by the ocean.

Maya was delightful at the desk, friendly and welcoming, and the lobby felt cozy. The room was clean and well appointed, with a really comfortable bed. Coffee, hot water, and iced water were available in the lobby morning and night. The beach and Haystack Rock are just minutes away on foot, and the shops are close too. What a gem, definitely a must-stay.

They gave us a doggie basket with travel essentials I'd forgotten to pack, including a top sheet for the bed. Our dog loves her new toy and treats. They also let us check in early, thanks for everything. We plan to come back. Almost forgot, there were elk eating in the hotel's front yard!
