We picked this hotel in a hurry because of a family emergency nearby, and what was meant to be a short stay turned into two weeks. We were looking for our lost dog, recovering valuables from a car wreck, and arranging medical care. Through all of that, the people at Fairfield by Marriott Inn Pecos were incredibly kind and patient with us. MacKenzie at the front desk went above and beyond. She gave us smart advice about finding the dog and spent several days out looking until Rufus was found at a nearby mancamp, three weeks after the accident. Her colleagues were empathetic and attentive too, helping with all our requests, from photocopies and laundry to cleaning. After long days searching the oilfields, our room was quiet, comfortable, convenient, and dependable. We’re deeply touched by the generosity and kindness of people in Pecos and the surrounding areas, especially our hosts at Fairfield by Marriott Inn. Thank you!

We had a small problem with our reservation, but the front desk agent sorted it out and got us into our rooms. I can’t remember her name, but she was amazing, friendly, helpful, and joked around with me and my crew. People like her make work travel so much easier.

The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of parking, but the place is run down and poorly managed, with lots of upkeep issues. The first-floor hallway carpet has a large damaged patch. Two of the three ice machines were out of order, and the shower had weak pressure, made noise, and sprayed water everywhere because the head needs cleaning. Breakfast was typical, but they ran out of plates. The woman said a truck was coming that day. The drink and snack selection was limited too.

The housekeeping staff were rude, unprofessional, and dirty. I work as a housekeeper, and the rooms weren’t done to any kind of standard. I’m not sure what they’re doing.

The front office staff had my room key ready before I arrived. Service was great, and breakfast was good.
