The price I paid for one night of such awful accommodations is hard to process. The place felt run-down, with old, dated everything, and the rooms aren’t soundproof at all. You hear everything from the other rooms, and the beds made a horrible noise whenever anyone sat or rolled over. I don’t even want to think about trying anything else on one. One night was more than enough for all of us. Maybe it was nice 20 years ago, but now it’s dilapidated and nowhere near worth the price. They should charge by the hour.

The hotel’s close to everything in the quaint, delightful town of Peekskill. We had a fantastic authentic Italian dinner at a local restaurant the night before, and the Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze was only about 10 minutes away. We booked three rooms for family for a weekend in October 2025, and they were together, clean, neat, and comfortable. Two side-by-side rooms had front balconies with beautiful Hudson River views. The front desk staff were courteous and very friendly. They offer a bagged breakfast, which wasn’t great, though the kids ate some muffins and other items. Coffee was ready first thing. We had a great stay and would book here again.

The rooms were simple but clean, with a hairdryer, microwave, and small fridge. The hot water was nice, though there was no safe. The bagged breakfast wasn’t very good, but the coffee available all day was fine.

The rooms are roomy and have a microwave and fridge. There’s actual furniture that could be cute and distinctive if anyone kept it up. But the bathrooms were grimy, there was mold in our shower, the water pressure was awful, and the toilet sat really low. The door seals might as well not exist, so we heard the train at all hours and other guests hanging out just outside our door at 6 am, talking and yelling. I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t get the rats other reviews promised, lol. Honestly, this wasn’t the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in, but it’s easily in my bottom ten. Calling it a hotel feels wrong. There’s a lot of potential here, especially because of the location, but it seems like no effort is being made.
