The breakfast was pretty damn good, especially those warm cinnamon rolls, and the location puts you near just about anything you might need. The parking lot felt safe and was easy to see. The room itself was clean, with a comfortable bed, a TV that was simple to use, and a good bathroom. Best of all, the thermostat actually worked and the blackout shade did its job. One of the best three-star hotels I've stayed in. This place should be the standard, and the staff were very friendly.

Tia made this stay memorable. She went out of her way for us consistently, and she's a remarkable manager. The rest of the staff were professional and really friendly, too. We stayed from 4/30 to 5/3, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty each day. Housekeeping kept up with what we needed. Our room was exactly right, with a very comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, blackout curtains, and a TV that was easy to use. The location is perfect. Big thank you to Tia. We'll definitely be back!

After three stressful days stuck in Washington, DC because of Winter Storm Fern, finally being able to do laundry and feel looked after was a huge relief. I travel often for work, and laundry access matters a lot when I'm on the road. In DC I couldn't wash anything, and the hotel had no service. I had no coins, detergent, or way to exchange money. When I checked in at this IHG in Birmingham, Pam was so kind. I asked about laundry machines and detergent, and she said they had them and showed me where to get cash so I could exchange it for the coins she had. It was late after a long, exhausting day, and she may have had one too, but she still made sure I had what I needed. Thank you so much, Pam. That care was a breath of fresh air.

We arrived late in the evening with no reservation, and Pam at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a full hot one. We'd definitely stay again.

The room was neat and clean, with two beds, a fridge, a microwave, and the usual Dove products in the bathroom. The sink looked recently updated, though I noticed some caulking issues. The wide hallways were uncluttered and didn't have a dank smell, and the lobby was very clean. There was only one elevator. It's easy to find, with a large parking lot, and Applebees and ChicFila are within walking distance. Having a pool house is a great feature. It felt like a safe, clean place to rest, though the signature cinnamon rolls were missing at breakfast on Sunday.
