Pelican Motel

Room 29 had a queen bed, air conditioning, a microwave, and a fridge. It was basic but fairly priced, and the Pelican Motel was clean and well maintained. Booking directly was easy, and communication with the owners before our stay was fantastic. They gave us a friendly welcome at check-in and clear instructions. The owners are kind, accommodating, and hard working. Yes, I’d stay again.

The location worked perfectly for what we needed, and we could bring our dog. Our room looked nice and was clean, with a large fridge for our leftovers. Service was excellent. The one downside for me was the streaming TV, which was a pain to navigate. That’s just my personal preference.

A cozy, quiet place to unwind after work. Louis and Tami are the real gem here, a friendly, hard working team who happily host and accommodate you. My respect and appreciation to them. I’ll definitely come back if I need a place in town. Don’t hesitate to call or just show up.

The room was spacious, and the owner was welcoming and interesting. I also appreciated that the A/C was already on when I arrived. Everything was really clean, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee, and the water got very hot. I loved both the motel and the town. My only “complaint” is that, as a solo female traveler, safety is my top priority, and the window wouldn’t lock. The town felt very safe, and the motel was probably monitored, but I wasn’t sure. I’d have felt more comfortable if I could lock the window, even if that makes me sound paranoid.
