I booked this at the last minute because of a family emergency and planned to stay two nights, but left after just 12 hours. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the whole hotel did too. The air quality made me feel sick when I got home. In the bathroom, there was pee all over a toilet that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The shower plastic was peeling, and the white towels had yellow and black stains. One even had a large piece of pubic hair on it. I’ve stayed at three hotels in Pella, and this was by far the dirtiest. Absolutely disgusting, don’t waste your money.

A great stay, even with the other reviews I’d seen. The front desk staff were polite and knew the area, and my room was clean. Excellent experience, thank you! 😁

Quiet spot in a safe area, with clean rooms and low prices. I enjoyed staying here and would come back.

The manager went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed, and was friendly and accommodating. We spent two nights at the Super 8 Pella and were very happy with it. The room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed and a good layout. Its location worked well for us, near the Hyvee and one of my favorite thrift stores. I’d recommend Super 8 Pella if you want a basic room at a bargain price.

There’s no elevator, so I needed a first-floor room because I can’t manage stairs. Guest laundry is available, and I could easily walk to the services and places I needed. I paid $80/night, which seemed maybe a little high for what you get, or maybe not. I was there two weeks before tulip time, so perhaps that pushed the price up a bit. For a budget hotel, this fit the bill and they’re trying hard. The halls have new carpet, and the rooms have fresh paint and art. I liked the huge piece of art used almost like a headboard. Breakfast was a nice free spread of hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, juices, yogurt, and a waffle maker. There were thoughtful touches too, like a sanitized sticker across the toilet and TV instructions at the back of the TV guide. One small annoyance: the washcloth was tucked inside the towel and fell into the toilet when I picked the towel up.
