Americas Best Value Inn Pendleton

The plumbing and electrical issues made this room feel overpriced at $100. The toilet clogged with every flush and took minutes to drain, and the pipes squealed during a shower. The outlet powering the TV, microwave, and coffee maker didn't work, so I had no TV or coffee. Charging my phone was awkward too, since the outlet by the bed was a surge protector wedged between the bed and nightstand. The room itself was clean, but cleanliness is a basic expectation, not enough to justify that price. If I'd paid $50, I wouldn't have complained.

I've stayed here a few times already and plan to return. The man who runs the hotel is friendly and accommodating, and it's good value in a very walkable part of Pendleton.

The person who checked us in was friendly, but the bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept. I could feel the springs through the old mattress.

Lots of shops, activities, and good food are close by, and I liked the location. The staff at the desk, who I assume are the owners, were friendly, patient, and professional. The hotel was clean throughout and seemed well cared for, with a decent breakfast and a quiet feel at night. Good value. I'd recommend it.
