We had a reservation at Motel 6 Pendleton 620 SW Tutuilla Creek Rd Pendleton, OR 97801, booked months ahead for September 17-20, 2026. On April 27, 2026, it was abruptly cancelled. The explanation was that they were “overbooked” and the original rate was “incorrect.” Managers “Bill” and “Stephanie” said several reservations had been cancelled for this reason, and said the owner Vivek Rajgor had made the decision. The same room was still listed online for nearly five times our original rate, which makes it appear that lower-priced bookings are being cancelled so the rooms can be resold at event rates. I called and emailed management and the owner several times, asking them to honor the confirmed booking. I was promised follow-up but got no meaningful response. If this has happened to you too, I strongly encourage filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division so there's a record. Guests should be able to trust that a confirmed reservation will be honored. Avoid booking during events unless you're prepared for a cancellation and a much higher price.

The rooms are gross, and the floors are always dirty. Bugs are part of the deal, apparently. Half the rooms don't have a fridge or microwave, so be ready to pay an extra $10 for them.

Shan at the front desk was really helpful and gave great personal service. They even shared some freshly made tea. My room was clean, parking worked well with my trailer, and Shan had good tips about local places to eat.

I travel a lot, and this was the worst one. The motel is in a secluded spot where I didn't feel safe. There were stains and hair on the bedding and pillows, and the microwave you have to pay extra for was very dirty.
