Gary made the stay feel special from the moment I arrived, with fruit and delicious oatmeal cookies waiting for me. Breakfast on the veranda was incredible, too. The home is beautiful and almost magical, right beside Cuyahoga National Park, and “The Innkeepers room” felt just as classy and comfortable. I especially loved the quilt. Such a welcome change from a forgettable hotel.

We arrived well after the usual check-in time, but the lights were left on to guide us to our room. The recently renovated property felt lush, cozy, and clean, and there were bathrobes for us to use. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh rosemary bread, local jams, plenty of teas to choose from, and coffee that kept coming. We lingered over it on the wisteria-covered porch and felt recharged for the road. We met a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary, and it really does seem like a perfect romantic getaway. I wish we’d had longer to explore the local waterfalls and state park, but we still had a long way to go. Thanks to Gary and intern Nicole for making our stop at The Silver Fern so nice.

Right by the National Park and a downtown area with wonderful dining options, this B&B is in a great spot. The place itself is beautiful and cozy, and Gary was a splendid host. His blueberry pancakes are delicious.

We could walk to everything from this quaint little B&B. The owners were amazingly hospitable and added to its charm. Gary served a superb wine and cheese platter, then made a wonderful, generous breakfast for us on the beautiful deck. We’ll be back, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

Gary went out of his way to make every part of our trip feel perfect, and he was very, very kind. My wife and I stayed in the “Inkeeper room”; it’s the least expensive one, but still cute and accommodating. He suggested Brandywine falls and The Overlook / Ledges trail at Cuyahoga National Park, and we weren’t disappointed. The views were spectacular. From the massages and delicious breakfast to the smallest details, everything was wonderful. (:
