Beach Club

The balcony view is a million-dollar view, and the condo was roomy for our group of five in a three-bed, three-bath unit. We had nice pools, a decent parking setup, and a free beach setup per room. Go early for the beach chairs, they run out fast and some are reserved from the day before. The pools close at 10 p.m.; I wish they were open all night, especially in an exclusive condo building. There’s no housekeeping during your stay, only after you leave. The kitchen was great, with nice cookware and service for about 12, plus nearly every utensil except a whisk. The room was nice, with signs of old water damage that weren’t too noticeable. If your condo has a coffee maker, bring your own coffee, since they may give you trouble about sending up more, and the welcome binder says they can charge for it. For food, McGuires Irish pub in Pensacola proper, Shrimp Basket for cheap, good food and plenty of it, and Peg Leg Pete's are all worth a visit. Get to Peg Leg Pete's early: after 5, the wait was an hour and a half for five people. Definitely worth the money. We only stay at the best, and this one made our list of places to return to.

The Beach Club was a lovely place for our vacation, with a beautiful beach, great location, gated community, and wonderful hospitality. Free beach chairs start in March. They texted us to say we could get into our room early, just as we were heading over from the airport. Thanks for a great stay!

The location is perfect, the view is awesome, and the place feels very safe. The condo was nice, but could use an upgrade. The ice maker didn’t work, there weren’t enough pans or supplies, and there was almost nothing stocked for us: one roll of toilet paper, one paper towel roll, and no salt, pepper, spices, dishwasher pods, or anything else. The outdoor pool looked beautiful, though the weather wasn’t good while we were there. The chandelier needs checking because it doesn’t look safe. The tub jets haven’t worked for a while, the toilets are old and low, which makes getting up hard for an older person, and none of the bathrooms have rails. The keypad on the door lock is worn out too.

We were in Pensacola for a cheer competition and booked as cheaply as possible. We usually stay in PCB, and this was our first time in Pensacola. The place is livable and clean, but could use a little TLC, maybe some lipstick and mascara to make it more appealing. The second night, we found there was no hot water because the lower element was out. Someone came to look at it, but I figured it wouldn’t be fixed before we left. I also had to fix the ice maker, which was frozen and wouldn’t dispense ice. There were lots of issues in A22, and the owner offered only $88 for the cold water problem. On our third and last night, we still had no hot water. Please rent somewhere else.
