Courtyard Pensacola Downtown

Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They made check-in, questions about the area, and little requests easy. Our king room with a sofa bed was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a layout that worked well for relaxing after a long day. The sofa was handy for lounging or extra guests. The location made getting around simple, close to the bridge, a gas station for fill-ups, and a breakfast spot and Starbucks within walking distance. A solid stay, and I’d consider coming back.

Our room had a water view, which made the weekend getaway extra special. The location was fantastic, and the amenities were great. The staff went above and beyond, and we really appreciated the outstanding service. We’ll definitely come back when the weather gets warmer, and would recommend the place to our friends.

The hotel was clean and in a nice location, but after I left around 9:30 AM on the second day of our two-night stay, I didn’t get back until nearly midnight and found the room untouched. There’d been no service at all. I guess just expect the room to be cleaned.

The location was excellent, right in the center of Pensacola, but the hotel didn’t live up to it. For the price, the room was minimal, and I felt like I was at a Motel 6 rather than a Marriott. It was also very cold, and although Mo, whom we saw most often, was friendly and brought us a hand mirror after we broke ours, he couldn’t get the thermostat working so we could regulate the temperature. Two ladies at the front desk, one guy with longer hair, and Mo were exceptions, but most of the staff were less than friendly. The drinking glasses were very thin plastic. When we said we’d look for real glass tumblers, one man at the desk offered to bring some from the bar, but never did.
