Lily Hall- A Boutique Hotel

I’d happily come back to Lily Hall for dinner or to see the speakeasy, and I’d stay there again too. The hotel is a charming boutique place, a bit farther from where I originally planned to be, but I was glad to try it. The finishes, bed, and room amenities were top-notch and clearly thought through. My main issue was the heat: the room stayed warm and the AC was loud. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough that I did sleep, but a window I could open or a quieter fan would’ve helped. The internet was slow as well. I’d hoped to get a snack at the downstairs bar, but they were closing about 45 minutes early, understandably, since I would’ve been the only customer and it was Super Bowl Sunday. I’d check room comfort ahead of time on another visit.

Everything at Lily's was lovely, clean, and had such a beautiful vibe. We ate at Pearl & Horn, about eight minutes away, and it was amazing. Brother Fox was a whole vibe of its own, too. The food was outstanding, especially the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had, with those croutons. Mmm. I’ll definitely be back soon.

The room had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The parlor and reading nook were adorable, and the staff at Brother Fox and Sister Hen were wonderful. I had a great stay, though the AC hummed all night and made it hard for me to sleep. My husband liked the white noise. The bed frame squeaked, too, which could get annoying. The location was perfect for our staycation, and I’d return with earplugs.

We went for a night downtown with drinks and an evening out, and Lily Hall made it all feel easy. It’s quiet, nicely decorated, and has a tucked-away, refined charm. Do the online check-in ahead of time, since having your door and room codes ready makes arrival smooth. There’s a nice restaurant downstairs, too. The walls are a bit thin, so it’s better suited to a calm, peaceful stay than a loud or rowdy one. If that’s what you want, it’s well worth a visit.
