Bluegreen Vacations Cibola Vista Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort

We came back again, and had a good time both visits. The pool area kept the whole family entertained with pingpong, a bar, a waterslide, and a huge pool. We stayed in adjoining suites with Grandpa, so he could have his own space. It also made a nice base for spring training baseball and horseback riding, and for a day trip toward the Grand Canyon. Thanks for the good times!

The place was immaculate and always felt safe and well cared for, though parking was limited. We stayed in two different one-bedroom condos over two weeks, and the difference in size between them was startling. Oddly, the smaller one had a king bed while the larger one had a queen.

The heated pool was great, and the location is handy for shops, restaurants, and gas. The rooms are a decent size and have full kitchens. But there aren't restaurants here, just a food truck. Guest services and the front desk were terrible. During our two-week stay, housekeeping came once, the Monday after we checked in on Sunday, and you have to make an appointment. The desk said that's their protocol. You can ask for fresh towels each day, but the staff who bring them just hand them over, with no smile, greeting, or offer to help further. We're on the second floor and have bugs flying around. They sprayed, but we still have bites. The salespeople are pushy, though I'd heard that before.

The timeshare presentation was surprisingly enjoyable, informative, and low pressure. The adult hot tub was small but properly hot and relaxing. The main one was huge, but only warm, more like a pool. The Wi-Fi was awful and unreliable throughout the stay, making it hard to stream, work, or even browse. The bathroom layout felt cramped and poorly thought out, with the toilet right beside the counter and barely enough space to sit comfortably. My stay at Chibola Vista was just okay. The property had some nice features, but didn't meet what I expected from a resort. Better Wi-Fi, room design, and a few upgrades would help.
