Hotel Peoria IL I-74

We ended up deciding not to stay, and they still wouldn't give us a refund. The man made us cancel through the website, which meant we wouldn't get our money back. At first, after a lot of arguing, they finally let us stay, but we'd almost been turned away because we had three kids. He said guests had to be 21 or older, even though the website didn't say that and claimed the place was family-friendly. What a stupid situation. They don't give refunds either. Never come here.

I spent two nights in two different rooms, and both were awful. They said those were all they had left, and the policy was no refunds, no exceptions. The first room had food left in the fridge from the previous guest, broken door locks, cockroaches, and mold in the shower and AC units. There were drugs, baggies, broken glass, dirt, grime, and billo in the rooms, plus dirty sheets with burn holes. I asked if they'd hire a cleaner for partial rent and they refused. With poor door security and no ID check for room cards, I worried about drug exposure and being attacked. Unless you want to spend 75 dollars and take those risks, don't go there. It wasn't safe for families at all. What can you do when they won't refund you? Stay quiet, sleep, and Google it.

We will never stay here again. The room felt disgusting as soon as we walked in: no doormat, dirty floors covered with snow from our shoes, and dead bugs squashed on the wall, including a moth. The bathroom towels were already dirty, but we had to use them to mop up the floor so we wouldn't slip. The toilet was low and too small, and wouldn't flush right. As a disabled person, I could fall off and not be able to get back up. The fridge wasn't cold. The heater was placed so badly that it blew the curtains open while running, raising privacy concerns. The fire alarm clearly didn't work, and though the place says no smoking in rooms, there was an obviously used ashtray in ours. The lobby was a tiny room behind bulletproof glass with a very small window and no disability access. I really should have listened to the reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would. Beware.

The room didn't match the pictures or description. My towels weren't even clean, and there was no blanket, just sheets. My ankles got bitten up.
