Holiday Inn Express Peotone by IHG

The beds were comfortable, and I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The hotel is fairly new and clean, and breakfast was great. My only issue was that the TV didn't have Netflix, even though the remote has a Netflix button. Please consider adding it.

The pool was heated, clean, and nice, and the gym was clean too. We found the beds really comfortable, and the coffee was awesome. The place was quiet and very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The laundry cost $4 each to wash and dry, and the dryer didn't fully dry the clothes. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was really good. The pool and fitness room were nice too. Great place to stay.

The front desk service was very unprofessional, especially after the hotel gave away 2 of the 3 rooms we had booked well in advance. We waited 15 minutes while the front desk employee stared at the computer without explaining what was happening. We were offered alternative rooms at the day's rate, which she called our “discount,” and were told they might be able to give us extra points. After unpacking, we returned the luggage cart and found two front desk employees openly discussing our situation and saying they “didn’t know why we were so upset.” They then told us our family of 4 couldn't stay in the room they had provided because it was over the allowed limit, even though we would have fit perfectly fine in the room we originally booked. When we asked to speak with the manager, staff said they couldn't reach him or her. We asked again the next morning, and after being brushed off once more, requested a corporate number. They said they couldn't provide one. The mix-up started at the front desk, and the way it was handled made the whole experience worse.
