On December 28, 2025, at 10:00 PM, one hardworking front desk employee was also covering housekeeping. He promptly brought the items we requested, and I felt that cleaning negligence had left him with an unreasonable extra workload. The next day, I saw just one person handling the pantry, cleaning and preparing food. The hotel was understaffed during my stay, and I hope they eventually see that guests and staff aren't getting what they deserve. The evening staff were responsive and attentive, and the 24-hour coffee bar was a nice touch. Still, cleanliness wasn't comparable to other hotels at this price. The bathroom sink drained poorly and had a lot of dirt inside, including contact lenses from the previous guest. The old soap and body wash dispensers were hard to press, the shampoo was empty and hadn't been refilled, and there was no bath mat. The shower door design left the floor constantly wet.

The value for the money really stood out, and the cleanliness, quality, and overall experience beat other hotels around here. I'd absolutely return and recommend it to people passing through or staying in Perry. The rooms were VERY clean, and the hotel felt fresh, modern, and fairly new. Check-in was easy thanks to friendly, efficient, genuinely welcoming customer service. The gym had solid equipment, and the clean indoor pool exceeded what I'd expect in this category.

Neil was fantastic at the desk when we checked in. Everyone was friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It seemed to be in a nice area, and the price was affordable. We were very impressed with Avid Hotel of Perry Georgia, so I saved it in my phone for future trips. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff were friendly and gave good service, and I appreciated the breakfast and amenities. It's a decent hotel, though it could use a thorough cleaning, fresh paint on the walls, and attention to some small maintenance problems.

We picked this place at the last minute without knowing anything about it and were glad we did. The location is convenient to the interstate but wasn't noisy. Neil at the front desk gave incredible service, the breakfast tasted surprisingly good, and the room was clean and efficient. We'd definitely stay again.
