Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites

I prepaid for the room, then found a second charge for the same amount on my card for the night I stayed. I called right away. Someone said they'd call back, but two days passed with no call. I later asked for the manager, who wasn't in, and was told when to try again. I've now called eight times during the hours the manager was supposed to be there, using different phones to rule out a phone issue, and nobody has answered. I've opened a dispute with my credit card. PLEASE CALL ME BACK AND RESOLVE THIS BILLING ISSUE! It wasn't even a good stay, and I'm not paying for it twice. I was there two weeks ago for one night on my way to Florida, in a first-floor room near the electrical room. All night there was a 15-second buzzing sound every two minutes. I could hear plenty of highway traffic too, but noise makers could drown that out. The electrical buzzing kept going and made it impossible to get a good night's rest.

The beds were very comfortable, and the woman keeping breakfast stocked was pleasant and helpful. Those were the two good things. I won't stay here again. I chose the hotel for its indoor pool and a suite that suited my needs. On arrival I saw a sign saying the pool was closed for winter. I asked the clerk about it, since the website never said it closed for winter, and got no alternative. Had I known, I would've booked somewhere else. There was mold around the tub's grab bar and high on the wall, and housekeeping had left dirty washcloths in the shower. The hide-a-bed had no sheets, pillows, or blankets in the room. At the desk I was given a blanket and two pillows with pillowcases, then had to go back to ask for sheets.

Janice at breakfast was great, put a smile on our faces, and sent us off to our next stop smiling too. We'd been heading to Perry, GL, and found the Best Western among the other interstate hotels. The building looked grey and modern. We went in to ask about rooms and rates, and Maria greeted us, explained the prices, and signed me up for a BW discount. She even found a suite for our 28th anniversary.

We stopped for the night on our way south and had everything we needed: a fridge, TV, and breakfast. It was very comfortable, and the woman running breakfast was great, keeping everything clean and well stocked even at 8:30 am. I'd stay again.
