La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Perry

The rooms are clean and modern, and I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. It’s a little off the highway, but not bad. There’s a weight room and a pool, though the pool is outside, which seemed odd. Unfortunately the bathroom has no exhaust fan. Someone else checked in, and both of us found the person at the desk difficult to understand.

The sheets were dirty, the room was raggedy, and the Tesla chargers weren’t working. I’m exhausted but can’t sleep because the room reeks of perfume from the cleaner. That Fabulouso fragrance is so strong and persistent, and I consider it toxic and carcinogenic. Nobody should have to breathe it in.

We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was about what you’d expect from a standard free breakfast. The housekeeping team were kind and thoughtful, which is hard to come across these days. Gabby was amazing: friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She made my family feel special and looked after whenever we needed something. Every hotel and resort should have a Gabby!

Breakfast was great, and Miss Mary in the kitchen was so sweet. The housekeeping ladies were friendly too. The hotel was brand new and clean, with super comfortable beds, and the staff were amazing. Gabby at the front desk was a ray of sunshine, she’s my girl now, and I can’t forget my glass slipper, hahaha. This was by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I had such a great experience and would definitely book again.
