Rodeway Inn

I only stayed one night after paying for a week, but when I asked for a refund, the staff member refused to return any of the money. I was really upset. Earlier, the roof leaked in my first-floor room, so I had to move at 1:00am. When I got back from work the next day at 6:00pm, the room still hadn't been cleaned: no towels, trash still there, and the bed unmade. The staff were very unfriendly, and I also saw prices being doubled for hurricane evacuees. Terrible hotel.

It was quiet, and the room was clean and a decent size. The building's older, so we could hear doors shutting around us. The price wasn't bad, but those mattresses were awful, hard as rocks.

For the price, I was surprised by how comfortable the bed was and how spacious and clean the room felt. The bathroom was large with good water pressure, too. I wasn't sure what to expect given the rating and nearby hotels, but walking in put those doubts to rest. The AC goes down to 54, and I'm pretty sure the room got that cold around 3am. I'd stay again whenever I'm in the area.

The family who own and run the place were lovely, and the service was great. It was quiet, the room was clean, and the AC was ice cold. The beds were great, too. The rooms are huge, and they didn't charge extra for my two service dogs. Thank you!
