Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Perry

We only stayed one night, and it was a really nice stop. The room was clean and quiet, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. When I asked about a fast-food place, she suggested a little cafe downtown instead. Glad we took her advice.

We ended up here after canceling a stay at the Super eightthat is also By Wyndham across the interstate because it was so nasty. The staff here were kind and helpful, and the room was clean with fresh, unstained towels. Friday night on the second floor, there was a faint musty smell in the hallway. When we came back Saturday and stayed on the third floor, it smelled much better. Breakfast was limited on Saturday but had more choices Sunday. We had a pleasant stay and would come back.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with omelets, sausage, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and a little coffee bar offering specialty drinks for an extra charge. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location right by 35 worked well, and it was quiet apart from several trains overnight. I ran the AC all night to cover the noise.

I haven't had a hotel room this clean in a long time. The service and food were great too, and everything about our stay was good. I'd definitely recommend it.
