I used to live and work here for a while, and it's really dated and run down now. The curtains are ripped, housekeeping is poor, and the front desk service is even worse. For the same price, the Comfort across the interstate is much nicer and includes a hot breakfast. Do yourself a favor and stay there.

The room smelled... interesting, and the photos give a misleading impression. It might work if you only need a place to sleep for one night, but the hotel looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. A group of staff, I think, sit outside smoking and chatting as guests come in. Watch the doors too: you have to pull them shut firmly or they won't close. If you're staying more than a day, you're expected to bring down your used towels and exchange them yourself to get fresh ones. And there's only one outlet for the coffee maker, so you have to unplug another appliance. The policies are strange. We got through the stay, but would we come back? No.

Nathan at the front desk sorted out taxi service to get me back to Chicago and helped with everything I needed. The rooms are clean and really quiet, the staff are friendly, and the price is low. You can walk to food nearby, and the people in this town are just good folks.

Friendly staff, a nice breakfast, and a great shower. The room was spacious and clean, the AC worked well, and it was quiet. I'll stay here again when I'm in the area.
