The Mediterranean House 1858

The kitchen was a chef’s delight, with plenty of dishes, cookware, and glasses. The living and dining rooms were nicely furnished, comfortable, and had lots of seating. We loved the location, close to downtown. Our room was very comfortable too, with luxurious bedding, towels, and robes. Everyone was accommodating and quick to help with any question or issue.

Our grandbabies had the best time, and we walked down the street to the local bakery. This historic home is adorable, with cute things throughout and a fantastic commercial kitchen. It’s close to everything. We loved it!

Carissa quickly sorted out a booking mix-up after we found out the other place we’d reserved had already been booked for the same dates. The website glitch wasn’t the host’s fault, and she kept in touch so well during our whole stay. She was kind and generous, and handled the situation right away. My husband and I spent the weekend in this beautiful home, and the owner’s restorations, decor, and amenities made it feel especially unique. The house itself was extraordinary, and the neighborhood was peaceful, with Perryville nightlife within walking distance. We can’t recommend it enough.

It was easy to walk to both the reception venue and downtown, and the hostess had thought of all the details that made the stay comfortable. The house worked amazingly well for the groomsmen on our daughter’s wedding day in September 2024. Its charm and decor gave the photographer a lovely setting for pictures of the men getting ready. There were lots of rooms, so the large wedding party could spread out, have snacks and drinks, and use several bathrooms. Thank you, Carisa. I remember when our area didn’t have an opportunity like this.
