Comfort Inn Petersburg Fort Lee Area

We had a clean room with two nice chairs and a good shower, and breakfast was good too. The front desk staff were very helpful. The location is convenient, just off the interstate. The owners are planning to remodel, though I didn’t see much need for it in our room. Great experience.

The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion mounted where they were easy to use, and the bathtub was big and comfortable. I also liked that dogs were welcome without breed restrictions. It was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. A few things looked a bit tacky: duct tape on the desk chair arms, cheap paint over the exit door bars, and the bathtub plate was loose and hanging off the tap. Even so, I’d stay again and recommend it, especially to someone like me moving from Florida to Massachusetts with a dog and needing somewhere to sleep.

The breakfast was decent, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. We did find an old dried cherry tomato and a bowl with food remnants under the bed, though. One bedside light also didn’t work. We told the desk, and they apologized and said they’d let the manager know.

I’ve made a few trips between Pennsylvania and Florida and stayed here along the way. The place is always clean, the staff are friendly, the beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is top notch. It’s also in a super convenient spot. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
