Prices are low, and the weekly rate is outstanding, the best in Va. Great place to live or visit. I highly recommend staying here.

I’ve traveled a lot and seen some bad places, but this is the worst so far. The door wouldn’t lock, it smelled like cigarettes, and the floors were wet for some reason. When I turned on the heater, a cockroach started climbing the wall. There was only one pillow, too. I opened the door, went to the bathroom, turned on the TV and heat, saw the roaches, and left. I also wouldn’t tell people to stay here when someone had reportedly been shot a few days earlier. It needs to be condemned. The best thing for this place would be to bulldoze it, like the gas station beside it.

The outdoor area was disgusting, with trash and dog poo everywhere, and they only provide one small towel and one hand towel. The room was clean, but heavily stained. The mattress sits on a pallet and is so worn down that it’s basically just springs. This motel feels stuck in the past, like the owners bought it in the 90s and never planned to change anything. The toilet seemed fragile and was hard to flush. There were roaches, though I’m not sure that was the motel’s fault, and they could at least put out a few traps. A mentally disturbed man was allowed to roam around screaming at the top of his lungs. It was alarming and scary to feel trapped in the room, not knowing if he might attack you. Maybe they could help their resident get the help he desperately needs.

After 12 hours of driving with five more to go, I really needed sleep, but couldn’t get it here. The deadbolt was damaged and didn’t work, and there was no way to block the bright light coming into the room at night. I napped for two hours, then felt like something was crawling on me. The bathroom was clean but needed updating. The front desk attendant was nice and the location was good, but the place made me feel unsafe. No thanks, this was the worst hotel I’ve been to.
