Aloft by Marriott Columbus Easton

I'm a travel agent and booked a weekend stay for clients. Marcella and the team at aloft went above and beyond to make sure they were well looked after. They're incredible, and I'll definitely recommend them to future clients visiting the area.

Parking wasn't great. There was no valet, and the lot was sort of behind the hotel. The ice machines also weren't convenient if your room was at the far end of the hall, so a more central location would help. The window coverings could block more light for better sleep. The room was open and spacious but had little storage, and the double-sized walk-in shower was nice, though the water pressure was low. On the first night there were about 50 black ants on the shower floor, and they never left on their own. For me, this was a three out of five stay. There are much nicer hotels at Easton.

I've stayed in lots of hotels, and this Aloft is easily one of the best. The people are what set it apart: manager Marcela, Assistant Manager Mr Oropeza, and Laudy, Olena and Abigail were all great and ready to help. Jean in the kitchen was helpful too. Thanks, everyone!

I'm not going back to this hotel. My mom slipped in the shower because it was so slippery, hit her arm and got a lump, and I almost fell too. When we told the front desk the next day, Abby said they would give us half our points back, which we were happy with. But after my mom complained about the stay because they never came to clean, we got home and learned she'd been banned. They said it was because we had no photos and she had no witnesses. She had three witnesses. Were we supposed to take a picture of her naked in the shower with a lump and bruises on her arms and legs? What the heck, aloft. My mom used to work here and I loved it. Now it feels like they're using that to lie. Stay far away and spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. This is my first bad review. I'm a good person, but I hope this review teaches aloft a lesson.
