Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Columbus Dublin

Our overnight stay went well. We had booked through Booking.com, but when we arrived, the reservation wasn't in the hotel's system yet. The front desk checked us in right away instead of making us wait through a lot of red tape. The staff were professional and accommodating.

D’sire made sure we had everything we needed and was so kind and professional. She even gave my kids a little bag at checkout, which made their day. We came to town for the Wlidlights at the Columbus Zoo, and the hotel was well cared for with welcoming staff. My sons are 5 and 7 and loved making their own waffles at the continental breakfast, even though it was the usual kind. The pool was clean and looked after, and just the right size for little kids to have a quick swim before we left. We'll definitely stay again.

Three nights here for work, and the staff were on top of things. My company had booked the wrong check-in and checkout dates, a day later than we needed, but the hotel fixed it for the same price. The property looked great. All good.

We were able to sit in the social area, order food, play games, and watch the OSU game on our iPads, but the TV there wasn't allowed to be used. We were told the policy had changed sometime during the year and that the TV was only for breakfast. The employee on duty watched our every move from the desk and was rude, which made the evening unpleasant. We were respectful and cleaned up after ourselves, but it felt like we were being treated as troublemakers and watched for a chance to kick us out. My family has stayed here for more than 10 years because it's nice, clean, and well located. This year was the last time. A hotel should offer good customer service, and we didn't get that. Don't stay here if a pleasant experience with the staff matters to you.
