Ragland Mansion Bed & Breakfast

The Library Room, the hot breakfast served right on time, and Miss Claudia all made our stay great. My wife and I came for my 50th birthday, and as a history buff I loved spending it in a mansion from the 1850’s. The house gave me the trip through history I wanted. There are still places in that area we’d like to see, so we’ll definitely return. Five stars hardly seem enough.

Claudia was a wonderful host, and the house has so many lovely period details. I had a relaxing, enjoyable stay in a lovely room, and I’ll come back when I’m passing through.

We came to say goodbye to a dear friend, and Claudia made the trip less painful. She was caring and kind without ever hovering, and we left feeling like old friends instead of strangers. The food was a treat for both the eyes and palate, and the service was impeccable. It felt like stepping back to a gentler time. Five-star hospitality at three-star prices. We hope to stay again when we can. Thank you, Claudia.
