The room was spacious and clean, and the lobby was clean too. The location is great, but after my first night I found a huge roach in the shower, even though the shower door was closed. It was disgusting. I called the front desk right away and someone came up to kill it. No one from management ever called or apologized. I checked out the next day anyway, but it was a gross experience I've never had before. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

There were plenty of things I liked: the breakfast was wonderful, and the attendants were so sweet. Sidney was a doll, knowledgeable and professional, and a real asset to the team. The gym was just right, and laundry was available for a few quarters. There was an ATM nearby and big screen TVs to watch while working out or doing laundry. The market had lots of choices, including locally brewed beers. Our first-night room was gorgeous, and the hotel, common areas, walkways, gym, and parking lot were quiet and well maintained. For the last three nights we had a modern, spacious, very clean King Suite. Whenever we needed anything from Sidney, such as toilet paper, a broom, towels, or local culture ideas, it was available. The pullout sofa bed was especially comfortable and clean for my 10-year-old son. The pool table also gave my fiancé and son a fun chance to learn and bond. The arrival booking was an issue. We had to wait to change rooms, then pay more for the change. The more serious problem was the way the do-not-disturb sign was handled. At 7 in the morning, while we were on vacation, Saray was rude when I asked why we were being woken up. They had called the room and got no answer, then called my cell and left a voicemail, but I hadn't responded. Even so, they sent maintenance to knock despite the sign. The suite bedroom door was closed, so we didn't hear at first. My 10-year-old son was in the living room and answered, and the maintenance man came in without asking for an adult. My fiancé came out to find a strange man in the room. That was disturbing and concerning. The sign was there for a reason. We'd reported that the garbage disposal wasn't working, but it wasn't an urgent issue. I don't understand why it had to be addressed at 7 a.m. They said the maintenance man was only there from 7 to 8, but that's not our problem. We hadn't been repeatedly complaining or making an issue of a non-emergency fault. When I tried to speak with Saray, she kept blaming us even though we had done what we were supposed to. Chasity later interrupted family pool time to discuss my complaint, despite having asked when would be convenient and my saying Wednesday. No resolution came of it. She did apologize, though Saray did not. We received no compensation, and the disposal still wasn't fixed. Their only proposed solution was to come back at 7 the next morning and wake us again on vacation. We'll have to keep making this trip, but unless something changes, I doubt we'll stay here again. That's unfortunate because we really like Home2 Suites and use them while traveling across the country throughout the year. Saray needs to improve her conflict resolution, and maintenance should be told to ask for an adult right away if a child answers the door. They should not enter a room with a child unattended. That could have gone very badly. My fiancé woke to find a strange man in the room. Not everyone is honest, and this could have led to abuse claims and legal action. We only tried to get the issue resolved, and it went nowhere. Unfortunate.

The room was clean, but the refrigerator still had a lot of old food from a previous guest. The front desk was helpful and courteous, and the location is handy for both shopping and food.

Everything felt top tier, from the breakfast and location to the hotel itself. The staff were always ready to help. Sydney was a great, friendly guy, Kennedy was a sweetheart, and Yolanda and Chasity were helpful and accommodating too. Whenever I went to the desk, they greeted me with smiles and found a solution. They made me feel like I'd known them for years. 10/10, I'd go back.
