We’d checked out at 11, as required, and were waiting for my mom to return with money so our family could go to a different hotel. It was over 100 outside, and a man kindly let my grandma and me wait in his room for a bit. We weren’t staying there, just trying to get out of the heat after waiting for hours. He said it was fine until my mom arrived. Earlier, I’d asked the front desk woman if we could wait outside the room, leaving room for her to pass, and she agreed. But when she and a colleague saw us moving our things inside, she asked what we were doing. I didn’t answer because I knew she thought we planned to stay, even though we didn’t. Then she got upset and told us to leave the property and find an Uber or something, despite knowing we were waiting for family and had no money for that. I’d respected her before, but she changed her mind once someone offered us a place to sit inside.

I left without staying and lost $65 trying to get a refund. They told me to call a number that never answers. The room smelled awful, the towels were dirty, and the bed felt like sleeping on the floor. The whole place was bad, and the area felt very unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Should’ve known better, stay away!

Cleanliness matters a lot to me since I travel often, and this place was very clean. I’d call it five stars, even if it isn’t luxurious. Just pay close attention to the “pest bites” warning. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s a Burger King, a convenience store, a drive-through, and a taco restaurant nearby. The place itself is old, needs room maintenance, and has a strange smell. It’s not somewhere I’d call family friendly, and it felt pretty rough.

A very budget friendly hotel, especially handy for truckers or expediters. There’s a food truck right beside it, so you don’t need to drive out for food.
