We were here during a snowstorm, with all the nearby shops shut, and Justina at the front desk went out of her way to keep us comfortable. She even brought us free soda, which was so thoughtful in the circumstances. Her warmth and upbeat attitude made a potentially stressful stay feel like the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Justina is a real gem and a huge asset to the hotel. We’re so grateful to her.

The room was huge for what I paid, with a separate living area, a king bed, and lots of space to unpack. The bedding was cozy, and having a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, and free Wi-Fi made it feel like home. It was clean, quiet, and easy to settle into after a long day. The washer and dryer in the suite was compact but worked well, and having it at no extra cost made the deal even better. Getting around was easy, too. Restaurants and the subway were about a 10-minute walk away, so I left the car behind and avoided downtown prices. The front desk team was friendly and shared local tips. Everything was spotless, with no hidden fees. This is a seriously good-value king suite, with practical comforts and a massive amount of space for the price. No frills, just a smart, functional place that felt like a steal.

I walked into the room, saw a lot of stains, noticed a faint smell, and immediately booked a room at the Westin down the street. The place felt unclean, with few amenities, and the lobby still looked like it was under construction, with vending machines for guests. The room had been booked for me by the person who hired me to come to Philly. The $200 security deposit was the most absurd part. I stay in luxury hotels every weekend and have never paid more than $100. Asking for that much to protect a poorly cleaned, cheaply decorated place is ridiculous.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and the rest of the stay was great. There’s free street parking nearby, and Aldi is an easy walk away. Just know that side-facing rooms have only one window, looking at the next building about 10 feet away, so they get no natural light. You can hear people talking loudly or walking upstairs through the light walls and floors, though it wasn’t happening all day. The sheets could have been cleaner, but they were acceptable.
