655 Lofts by Sonder

We had a clean two-bedroom loft with a great layout, and everything worked. Restaurants and groceries were within walking distance, and getting on the highway was quick for where we needed to go. It was close enough to things while still far enough away. We had a great stay and would happily return.

After a long bike ride on the rail trails from north PA, we spent the weekend here and had a great experience. The place was very clean, with modern appliances and unusual decor, and they’d left coffee and plenty of towels and amenities. Getting in was easy, and Giant Market and restaurants were just a few blocks away. We’d definitely stay again.

We left early because we didn’t want to spend another night there. With our children, we didn’t feel safe in the neighborhood. I asked for some kind of refund, but they denied it and just thanked me for reporting the problems 😑 We’d booked a two-bedroom, two-bath place with a washer and dryer. When we arrived late at night, the elevator wasn’t working, so we carried everything up to the fourth floor. The place looked much nicer in the photos. It was worn, with scuffed walls and stairs and dirty trim. The tub in the main bathroom wouldn’t drain, and its door wouldn’t close all the way. The next night the keypad failed, leaving us outside late at night until it was fixed.

We spent two nights here and had a great time. I’ve always wanted to try living in a loft, and this place was honestly perfect for that. It was cute, the staff were friendly, and there were lights everywhere, which I loved. Parking across the street worked out because that building was abandoned. If anything runs out in the room, they have it in the main lobby. It felt a lot like an Airbnb but with hotel-style booking. My friend and I want to try other sonder places!
