I come here for a quick run sometimes, or just to hang out. It's right in the middle of the city, and you can stroll, run, or have a picnic. I also love coming by for the Tuesday and Saturday farmers market. My favorite spot in center city so far.

You see all kinds of people taking a break here: grandparents with little kids, babies, dogs, friends lounging on the grass, and people reading on their own or sitting on a bench enjoying the scenery. It's a lovely place to slow down, be outside, and take your mind off everything going on in the world. On Saturday, October 4th, there was a festival with farmers markets selling fresh produce, fish, and meat, plus vendors with Mediterranean, African, and Hispanic food, pastries, local artwork, and organic products. There was live music too. The festival will continue through October 12th. This is such a nice, relaxing, family-friendly place, and it's dog friendly too. Play song

There's a great mix of people here, and you can often find someone playing music nearby. Some of them are good! People feed the birds and squirrels, and there are plenty of benches if you want to relax. Shops and restaurants surround the park, and it hosts farmers markets and art shows at different times. It's kid friendly and welcoming to animals. One of the nicest parks in the city, with a good vibe and something nice to enjoy all year round.

It's a great spot to catch local artists, vocalists, and people playing instruments. I came to Rittenhouse Square for a couple of laps, then went for a regular walk down South Street, about 30 blocks from the river to Broad Street and back. The square is a beautiful green space where you can take in the city sights. It's an iconic spot too, where Eddie Murphy was filmed in the movie trading places.

Fun area to explore, especially for a stroll through the pretty grounds. Rittenhouse Square sits among high-end apartments, great restaurants, and lively bars, right in the middle of a sophisticated Philadelphia neighborhood.
