It's a little shabby and creaky, and the beds are okay. Nothing wrong with the place, though. There's even a handy hole in the floor for the spliffs previous guests left behind, as you can see in the photo. What more could you ask for?
The customer service was rude and lazy, and they wouldn't replace the dirty sheets, leaving me expected to sleep in them overnight. They offered another room that was worse and had even more hair in the sheets. The sheets were full of hair. Also, this appears to be an illegal setup in Philadelphia: there are over eight units, while the law allows only three tenants who aren't blood related.
After I booked, the host said I had to send an extra $104 as a “deposit” through PayPal or Cashapp before I could get into the room. That wasn't mentioned beforehand, and I have a strong feeling I won't see that $100 again after “15 business days.”
The bathroom was dirty, the door was unhinged, and the window wasn't clear. It's a typical house, but there's no maintenance.
A horrible place. Don't stay here, under any circumstances.
