Stay Alfred at 2116 Chestnut

The building itself leaves a lot to be desired. Maintenance is inconsistent, communication can be frustrating, and without the staff, the experience would fall short. Andy and Isaac are why my friends and I are still here. Andy is the heart of 2116. He remembers every Wharton student’s name and story, celebrates our wins, checks on us when we’re stressed, and makes coming home something to look forward to. He’s carried up my groceries, encouraged me before interviews, and helped residents in so many personal ways. Isaac is just as wonderful, kind and hardworking, always ready to help with a warm, calming presence. Even when the infrastructure doesn’t feel cared for, he makes the building feel cared for. They give us the community, comfort, and stability the building itself doesn’t, and management is lucky to have them. From the first tour, Andy made my family and me feel welcome. He’s the reason I chose this building, and without him, many of us wouldn’t stay.

The door staff are the best part of living here, and management is lucky to have them. Isaac and Kareem are kind, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. The five stars are for the front desk team. Andy was a big part of why I chose to move here. His kindness, energy, and genuine care stood out from day one. He makes residents feel like family, welcomes everyone, and goes the extra mile without being asked. He brings the building to life. Karim, Isaac, and William are fantastic too. They’re friendly, attentive, dependable, and always ready to help with a great attitude. The front desk team is easily the best part of living here.

I’ve been here for 6 months. The location is phenomenal, the floor-to-ceiling windows give you great views, and maintenance has been very helpful. Best of all are the front desk concierge attendants. Andy greets me each morning with a smile and tons of energy, knows everyone’s name, and is always willing to help with anything. Isaac is warm and friendly when I come home after a long day.
