The Ledger Residences by Sosuite - Old City

Being in the heart of Old City was a real highlight, with historic sites right outside the lobby and a WAWA next door. The Ledger is in a charming historic building, and I had a one bedroom loft with a wonderful view of Independence Hall. It was spotless and well stocked, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the bed was very comfortable. Valet parking made things easier. The front desk was consistently helpful, and the host answered my questions promptly every time. I saw some reviews mention noise, but it wasn't an issue for me at all. It's a busy tourist area in a major city, so I expected some sound. I'd return to the Ledger without hesitation. It was an excellent stay.

I'm at Rutgers Law now and already looking forward to coming back to Philly often. This is hands down the best place I've stayed. The building is gorgeous and elegant, and the suite felt comfortable and homey while still being classy. Thank you!

The noise spoiled an otherwise just okay four day stay at The Ledger. We were on a high floor just below the rooftop, and two events that week, one of them a wedding, had booming music going until 11:30 PM. It started around 9 PM, which was frustrating when I was trying to sleep early. I've stayed with Sosuite many times, including a month at The Loxley in Old City, and expected more. That place felt warm and inviting, while this unit seemed plain, cold, and sterile by comparison. Cleanliness and amenities met the standard, and I'll still book with Sosuite, but not at this location again.

We stayed in a one bedroom loft and found it easy to reach the nearby historic sites from here. The Wawa just around the corner was handy, too. We hope to come back and stay here again.
