Timber Inn

Those Gerkin patio doors are really nice. The staff are friendly, and the refreshed rooms feel much cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming. The new owners have changed a lot about this old property while keeping its old world charm. You can see the care they’re putting into the details. I’m looking forward to returning as they keep improving the place.

We’re from Georgia and were passing through, and the easy-to-reach location worked well for us. The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean and updated. The new owners’ planned improvements could make this an easy five-star hotel in the Phillips area.

Karen and William went out of their way to help my son and me on our recent snowmobile trip. My boys and I had stopped staying here a few years ago because the rooms were getting worse and the staff service was poor. The new owners are working to turn that around and have started redoing the rooms. Although they’ve only owned the hotel for three months, Karen’s husband and son have already begun major renovations. They’re bringing back the family atmosphere the place needed. Give them time, and I think this could earn five stars across the board.

This was my second stop here on a business trip. The owner’s son remembered me and added a table and chair to my room so I’d have a spot for my laptop. I got one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was really nice and bright.
