Volcano Teapot Cottage

The cool Volcano nights made for some of the best sleep, and the jungle was peaceful and quiet. We had a great four-night stay in the Teapot Cottage, which was made memorable by all the little things Bill and Antoinette provided. They brought more pastries and fruit than we could finish, and the pantry and fridge were stocked with what we needed. The claw-foot tub and shower were wonderful, and the bathroom had supplies for anything a traveler might have forgotten. Highly recommended.

We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. The Teapot cottage was such a pleasant surprise, immaculately decorated with teapots and clean, relaxing throughout. Each day there was juice, water, yogurt, papaya, eggs, bagels, and sausages stocked for us. The owners went out of their way to make our mountain stay feel luxurious. There’s no heat, and it gets cold at night, so bundle up. The hotels in Hilo were terrible. Keep up the great work, and I hope more people hear about the Teapot cottage!

My mom and I stayed here while visiting Volcanoes National Park, and neither of us had seen a better B&B. The house and grounds were immaculate, beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. When it got chilly, we had blankets, space heaters, and a gas fireplace that was easy to use. The kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast, with fresh pastries brought each day. Bill was very nice and answered our question right away. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Volcano.

The little details made this stay feel so special. There were fresh baked treats each morning, a fridge stocked for us, and plenty of delicious teas. Every corner of Volcano Teapot Cottage had warmth and character, with many of the pieces handmade by Bill. Bill and Antoinette welcomed us so warmly and shared great recommendations. My husband and I spent a cozy evening by the fireplace, then slept wonderfully in the plush bed. I left feeling grateful and full of heart. For a beautiful, comfortable place with top tier hospitality, this is a favorite stay of mine.
