Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Phoenix Midtown

Our team was at Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix Midtown for a three-day tournament weekend, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The best part was how Jamicka handled our teenage players after they won. They came in excited, singing and celebrating loudly, while the parents and coaches tried to quiet them out of respect for other guests. Jamicka met them with warmth instead of frustration. She joined in singing and dancing, making the moment special and memorable for the players. She went above and beyond with such kindness and professionalism. Jamicka is a class act, and we’d absolutely return and recommend the hotel to other families and traveling teams. Thank you, Jamicka! Love, Henderson Cougars Lacrosse Team!!

The clean room was bigger than I expected, and it was the most comfortable hotel stay I’ve had in a while. I was relieved to be here. When I arrived, the staff greeted me kindly and helped me right away when they could see I was tired.

There’s construction at the hotel, and it gets loud during the day. The rooms are large and clean, with cold AC. The noise was so much that I could barely hear the person checking me in, though they were friendly and got me into a room quickly. Once the construction is finished, this would be a good place to stay.

The ground floor is under construction, with drywall, tile, and painting work going on all over. There’s no gym or bathrooms. None of this was disclosed when I booked or listed on Marriott’s website. The breakfast is so bad I’d rather go hungry. I suggested they notify people while booking, but they said, “you saw the construction when you walked in, you could have canceled.” Canceling after arriving by Uber isn’t ideal. I wouldn’t stay here again.
