Nearly $800 for two nights, and the condition of the property didn’t come close to justifying the price. The rooms are old and heavily worn, with outdated furniture and interiors, neglected common areas, and a generally run-down feel. The worst part began when we arrived with our three-month-old, a stroller, and several bags, then found out we’d been assigned to the fourth floor with no working elevator. There was no warning beforehand and no meaningful help. Carrying everything and the baby up four flights was unacceptable. Guests, especially families with infants, should be told clearly in advance if the elevator isn’t working. This showed a serious lack of care and professionalism. One of our worst hotel stays. We’ll never return and can’t recommend it.

The breakfast was really good and laid out in a convenient way. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and great. If you’re looking for a nice, safe, clean place to stay, I’d recommend Homewood Suites.

The location is the one thing this place has going for it. Grocery stores right nearby, In-N-Out, restaurants, and other shops are all within walking distance, and it’s about 20 minutes from the airport. Otherwise, this place needs a complete overhaul. It felt like stepping into a filthy time machine, which was unsettling enough that next time I’ll try the other hotel down the road. It’s terribly dated and filthy. The rooms look straight out of the 1980s, except for some newer carpet. There’s fluorescent lighting, popcorn ceilings, cracked wood flooring in the kitchen, and I seriously think the mattress was from the 1980s too. It was flat and felt like a box spring. The shower was just a basic tub like you’d have in an apartment, not a typical hotel bathroom. Other people have mentioned cockroaches. I didn’t see any, but given the condition, I expected to. The room wasn’t made up each day either. I came back to an unmade bed, towels replaced, and trash still there. The dishwasher had random dishes in it and was grimy.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating about early check-in. Breakfast was very nice, and they also provided good dinner options. The property is being renovated, though you’d hardly know aside from the elevator issues.
