I really appreciated the balcony, especially while it was raining. The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom was a good size, and the complimentary breakfast was great. The location worked perfectly for us downtown, and the staff and management knew a lot about the area. The only problem was that I couldn’t book a third night. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Kelly really made the stay great. When I asked about laundry, he offered to let me use their machines for free, though I didn’t want to trouble him and used the guest facilities. When the dryer had problems, he let me use their commercial machine and kept an eye on it. The hotel was clean, basic, and functional, with large rooms and good water temperature and pressure. It’s in a great spot for concerts and the ballpark, with plenty of free parking. Thanks for a great stay!

After a little confusion, we got our hotel cards and went up to the room, only to find people already inside. We went back for different cards, and the next room had a toilet that didn’t work. The owners were really nice, though, and drove us to the mall for the things we needed while they repaired it. The neighborhood looked sketchy, but the place felt pretty safe. Not terrible for the price.

The staff were really nice, and the coffee by the hall entrance was surprisingly good, much better than the usual hotel coffee. For the price, it’s a pretty nice place, and I liked that they have a couple of pet-friendly rooms. The towels we got looked dirty or stained, though, which was gross. Also, when you pull up the tub stopper to start the shower, the spout feels like it might come right out of the wall. There’s no coffee pot in the room.

We paid a fair price for one night, and the room was cool and right across from where we needed to be during our vacation. The room itself was neither terrible nor exceptional. One odd thing happened: an owner or maintenance person opened our door without knocking while looking for a different room that needed service. We had the latch on, so it was strange and unexpected, though it seemed like an honest mistake.
