I had a wonderful time at Sol Modern Downtown Pheonix and liked it enough to consider moving in. I took a tour with Bobby. The apartments are comfortable and trendy, the amenities are great and well maintained, and I appreciated the complimentary water and Botanist and Chemist bath and body products. I started in a studio, then upgraded to a 1 Bedroom. After checkout, I realized I'd left something in the studio. Beth worked with the concierge team to get it returned, with great follow-through. The whole team, from Sara to Beth, Liz Zee, and Brigid, took good care of me. Construction during my stay in the one bedroom made it hard to focus on work. I asked for another place to work, and Zee accommodated me and even suggested lunch spots. I look forward to coming back.

Jermark, the manager, and his office team have been kind and treated me well. But the building and leasing experience have been a major disappointment. I moved in during September, and Sol's team seemed eager to get people signed up for a building that was still an active construction site. Before my move-in date, I was warned the apartment might not be ready because it needed a final inspection. When I arrived, several hallway walls were unpainted, dust was everywhere, and construction crews came and went every day. I was told the 28th floor and its amenities would be ready in early October. That moved to November, then December, then January. Now I can't get an answer about when it'll be finished. Those amenities were a key reason I chose the building, and I made that clear during leasing. Sol sold people on features it knew weren't ready and rushed residents into a building that wasn't fully operational. I was sold a dream that still hasn't come true. Months ago I was promised updates, but weeks later we still haven't received any. I'm several months into a lease I would never have signed with an accurate timeline. Sol Modern has overpromised and underdelivered. The parking garage, for which they charge an exorbitant rate starting at $175 a month per spot, was broken and left open for two months without any communication. When I raised my concerns, I was offered $40 as a concession. This was the second time it had broken, even though the building has only been open since August.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sol Modern. It had the essentials for a good time, and the environment felt safe. The staff were respectful and amazing. The downtown view was breathtaking, as you can see in the picture. It doesn't get much better. We appreciate you, Sol Modern. Thank you.

The pool deck is easily the best part of this large, beautiful property. It has a full gym, basketball court, games, lounges, a fridge, and lots of other amenities. I'd stay again, though the building isn't finished and has plenty of maintenance issues. They asked me to pay an early check-in fee even though my room was ready at 1:30 PM. That didn't seem necessary at that time of day. Before noon, maybe, but not at 1:30.

We had a great time here for a couple of days while in town for a basketball tournament. The place was nice and clean, and the sunset views from the 8th floor were really nice. We also got into a yoga class, which helped get me and my teammates' bodies ready for the games. Definitely a place to stay.
