We were disappointed and felt the photos gave the wrong impression. In the first room, two lights didn't work and there was an odd smell, so we moved. The next room was an improvement, but still dated and very dim, with an uncomfortable bed. The couch looked old and dirty, and the dresser had cosmetic damage. We eventually canceled and went to the Element by Mariott hotel, which I can't recommend enough.

The location worked great for getting to restaurants, shops, and the freeways, and we liked the hotel and our stay. Breakfast was the one letdown. The waffles were good since we made them ourselves, and I'll leave it at that. 😋

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was decent. The rooms need attention: carpet squares were coming up, there were wall stains, and some unpleasant smells. My door also locked itself manually. Since only one staff member was working that night, she gave me a special tool and I had to use it to open my own door. With better, cheaper options nearby, including the Courtyard sister property in the same parking lot, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I was only here for about eight hours, arriving late and leaving before breakfast. The room had a musty smell, though it was raining and more humid than usual outside. I also hadn't expected the parking fee, and it seemed excessive for a Springhill Suites. For the price, I don't think it was worthwhile, and I wouldn't stay at this location again.

Cole at the front desk really stood out. He was friendly, answered every question, and picked up on my name right away whenever he spoke to me. His attention and help would be enough to make me stay here AGAIN!!!
