We came for the weekend, Thursday-Sat, and, honestly, you get what you pay for. The bed sheets and pillowcases were clean, and I didn’t see any bed bugs, roaches, or rats, which was a plus. But the walls, baseboards, and floor were dirty, and there was black grime around the otherwise clean bathtub. The bathroom walls were dirty too. One blanket had a blood stain and the blankets had burn holes, so I’d bring my own. The shampoo and body wash bottles were empty, though they did have bar soap and small cleansing washes. The atmosphere and location were okay, and I didn’t feel unsafe, but it got really noisy at night. I heard a girl crying and screaming at 12AM, then a man yelling around 1-2 AM, along with people drinking and who knows what else. This place is only good for a quick one-night rest. If you’re visiting LA, I’d bring extra cash for a better hotel and experience. I know cleaning isn’t easy since I clean houses myself, but a little bleach and Lysol spray would help, and they should at least upgrade the blankets.

On New Year’s Eve, December 31, my partner and I got a room, and she spotted bed bugs coming out of the head board while getting ready. We had to cancel our plans, pack everything, and go somewhere else. It was pouring that day, and every other hotel was expensive or overpriced. When I called the front desk, the guy didn’t seem concerned or even apologize. He just asked if anyone else was in the room. The next day, the manager made excuses and said the previous guests had brought the bedbugs in. I think that’s B.S, because isn’t that what the cleaning lady is for? I keep thinking how much worse it could have been if one of the bugs had ended up on me or my partner. It could have ruined the start of our New Year’s even more, but I caught it in time. STAY AWAY FROM HERE IS POSSIBLE!!!

The room was clean, and I felt safe here. It was a little noisy, though, since it seemed like families were living there.

There were loud parties downstairs almost every night, and the elevators weren’t working. There was no phone in the room, so to reach someone you had to go to the lobby and ring the doorbell. The room itself had beat-up, old walls, plus the pool was very dirty and usually occupied by kids who live on the property, so relaxing there wasn’t really possible. The tub and shower were clogged and filled up to my ankles. The fridge seal was broken, which made it hard to keep things like ice or ice cream.

I couldn’t get a refund after paying in advance, so I had no choice but to stay, even after being moved to another room. The second room had the same problems. There was a strong marijuana smell, flies around the room, a TV that didn’t work, and old, dirty towels that smelled like crap. This was one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.
