Riverview Bed & Breakfast

The owner, Corolla, was fun and appreciative, and I’d like to come back for a long weekend next spring or fall. The room felt welcoming and was furnished incredibly well. Breakfast came without a menu and was all organic: eggs, a non-flour English muffin, and sugar-free marmalade. Everything tasted great, even for someone like me who isn't plant-based. The coffee came with coconut sugar, too. Parking was a little tight, and GPS apps may send you down some awful side streets. I'd skip the Broadway to Ash St route and plan the drive by looking over a map or the streets on a mapping app. I found the place while searching for somewhere near Sleepy Hollow. Just two minor drawbacks for me, not real dings.

We wanted a quiet, cozy first getaway after having kids, with restaurants and places to walk nearby, and Riverview B&B fit the bill. My husband and I had a wonderful stay last weekend. The place was clean and nicely equipped, and we walked to dinner each night. I also went for a pleasant run from Riverview onto a local trail one morning. Carolla was a lovely host, and we really enjoyed her breakfasts. We’d happily recommend it.

We found the location peaceful and handy for the places we wanted to explore. My partner, my dog, and I had a lovely few nights here. Corolla was very sweet, and the breakfast she made was a highlight: scrambled eggs, a goat cheese omelette, waffles, English muffins, and fresh coffee. It was all delicious. Thanks, Corolla!

The bathroom areas are quite small, so they may not suit very big people. Still, we definitely hope to come back. We spent two nights in the lovely upstairs apartment on the last weekend in July. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. During the hot spell, the window AC and ceiling fans helped cool the room down. Carolla was warm and attentive, and breakfast was wholesome and delicious.
