Deb was friendly and made us a delicious breakfast, and we’d definitely return. Our room had French doors opening onto the second-story porch, a lovely spot for snacks and a glass of wine after sunset. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The 1907 (?) house has been beautifully renovated inside and tastefully decorated. The outside is inviting too, though it’s still being restored.

We slept better than ever in the king-sized bed, and the shower was amazing. Deb was a gracious, wonderful host, and her breakfast was delicious. The whole Hitching Horse, inside and out, was super clean. The historic 1905 building was immaculate and the decor stunning. We’re looking forward to staying at the Hitching Horse on our way back home. Thank you, Deb, you’re amazing!

Deb was a great host and even came in earlier than the breakfast hours so we could get on our way. The house feels cozy and welcoming, and we had a comfortable room and a great breakfast. I’d happily stay again.

The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was just what I needed. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the place was easy to find. It’s a charming, rustic inn, with a nicely decorated room and comfortable beds. I also enjoyed soaking in the jetted tub. I’d recommend a visit to this lovely home.

We’ve been here for a long stay and are enjoying it. Deb has made every part of our visit feel just right and has been more than accommodating. The rooms are clean, with spacious, updated bathrooms. Breakfast is superb, and the fire pit and balcony are nice added touches. For comfort and leisure in Pierre, this is the only option for us.
