Lodge at Mill Creek Hotel

We won't stay there again. The room smelled bad and there was mold in the bathroom. A cigarette stayed on the floor under the end table for all four days we were there. It was there when we arrived, and I left it to see if anyone would vacuum it up. They never did. We saw the cleaning guy a couple of times but never saw a vacuum. The tip envelope was left out front every time we returned, as if we were still expected to tip despite the poor cleaning. It was also hard to find the office, which is on the side without a sign.

We will NOT be back. We booked two rooms almost a year ahead and were told they would be together, but they weren't. The front desk woman was very rude to me and my grandson. Our room had an AC unit cord that had been sliced and put back together, and the fridge didn't work. The website said there was free breakfast, but there wasn't. Our room wasn't cleaned until the day before we left. My husband did find one nice worker, who said she'd get the room cleaned and leave fresh towels and rags. The shower also kept making its own waterfall even when it wasn't on.

We couldn't get decent sleep because both beds sagged in the middle and were extremely uncomfortable. The bedding was dirty and stained, the room smelled like smoke despite my asking for a non smoking room both on the reservation and at check-in, and the room was in very poor condition and extremely unclean. The TV picture was awful, and the channels advertised weren't available. The walls were so thin we could hear every noise from outside and upstairs. The office looked dirty, and the check-in staff member was rude and didn't seem to want to be there. There's nothing positive to say about this property, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It was awful, and if we could have canceled, we would've left. Please don't stay here, especially with kids. There was mold in the air vents, and we didn't get the double room we wanted. The other family with us had to buy cleaning supplies. The carpet was disgusting, and the people two rooms away were smoking weed, so the odor was strong. People were standing around outside our door. The location was okay, but this isn't a place where I'd feel safe or get a decent night's sleep.
