The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Having breakfast included and free WiFi made things easy, too. With the local parks and fairgrounds nearby, it worked well for our visit. A dependable stay at a good price in Pike County.

There was a roach on the bathroom wall as soon as we turned on the light in our room. When I went to the desk, they casually offered to move us, but I didn't feel that solved the problem. I wanted a refund and said I wouldn't stay there. We had checked in for a vacation, and I've never had trouble with Quality Hotels, which includes Comfort Inn, before this. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone visiting Serpent Mound State Park.

I was there for work and have stayed in plenty of hotels. The beds could be better, but the staff were great and I had a nice stay.

The rooms are reasonably clean, and housekeeping did a great job. I did find roaches, ants, and other small bugs, though. Trains pass across the street pretty often, which isn't the hotel's fault. Still, this is probably the best hotel option around here.

We stopped here on the way home and got checked in without any trouble, even though it was late in the day. The service was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast had a good selection: eggs, sausage, cereal, bread and bagels to toast, waffles you can make yourself, apple and orange juice, and coffee. There's also a small workout room, though a couple of the machines were out of order. Definitely worth the stay.
