The room was clean and quiet, the hotel was well maintained, and the staff were friendly. Still, we wouldn't stay again. The bed was extremely firm, and my husband and I both woke up sore several times during the night. We also weren't told that breakfast cost extra, either when we booked or at check-in. Even the basic cereal and fruit option costs $5 for members, and a hot breakfast is another $10 per person. Reviews suggest other guests dislike those charges too, but the hard bed is the main reason we wouldn't return.

We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints. The place looks just as it did when it first opened, and it's the cleanest hotel ever with the nicest staff. The dining room team and chef are excellent. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

There was also a strange gurgling noise in the walls at night that kept disturbing my sleep. At breakfast, the service and food availability were a mess. On two mornings in a row, we sat waiting and were ignored while people who arrived later got served first. Coffee was replenished only now and then. Skipping guests like that is rude, and coffee should be the first thing kept stocked. Bad service, no coffee, noisy room. That's three strikes. Can't recommend it. Stay at the hotel next door.

My wife and I visited family for a week recently, and the hotel was better than we'd expected. The staff were personable and kind, took care of what we needed, and did their best to make the stay enjoyable. The dining and bar staff were especially attentive.
